Highlights panel

The Highlights panel shows key information about the folder, such as:

• Folder name
• Owner
• Description

This information helps identify the folder and understand its context within Salesforce.

Related lists

The main value of the Folder Record Page is found in its related lists. These lists show how the folder is used and how it fits into the document structure.

Subfolders

Shows all child folders directly related to the current folder.
This helps you understand the folder hierarchy and navigate deeper structures.

Files

Shows all files stored in the current folder.
This provides an overview of the folder’s contents without navigating through the Files and Folders component.

Folder File Categories

Shows which file categories are associated with the folder.

Folder File Categories determine which file types can be stored in the folder and play an important role in Automated Folder Creation, as explained later in this guide.

Folder History

Shows historical changes made to the folder, such as updates to metadata or structure.

This is useful for tracking how a folder evolved over time.

Audit Log

Provides an auditable view of actions related to the folder.

This is especially useful in environments with compliance or governance requirements.

Folder Translations

Shows the available translations for the folder name, with one entry per language.

Folder Translations allow the same folder structure to be presented in multiple languages, ensuring a consistent and user-friendly experience for international teams.
