The layout of the File Version Record Page is largely the same as the File Record Page. This consistency helps you navigate version information without having to learn a new interface.

Shared layout elements

The following elements work the same way as on the File Record Page:

Version-specific differences

The key differences are:

• The page focuses on version-specific metadata
• Some fields may be read-only, reflecting the state of that version
• Dates such as publication or modification apply to the selected version
• Actions apply only to the selected version, not the entire file

This ensures that actions taken on a File Version Record Page do not unintentionally affect other versions.
